Easy Lawn Care

Caring for your lawn can be rewarding, but it usually takes an enormous amount of frustration to get to the point where you just sit back, sip your lemonade and enjoy the green envy of your neighbors.

Most of us just spend tons of money and time with little road trips to our local lawn and garden center with questions and worries about what to do and when.

If this is how you feel, and you just stare longingly at your hammock on those spring and summer weekends, with a look of disbelief at the crab-grass overtaking your lawn, well, don't despair.

Usually, it is that we've all spent too much time and too much money putting down chemical after chemical when we really just had to follow a simple fertilizing plan.

The first and most important step, if this is you, is to get your soil tested.  You can purchase a simple soil test kit or take a sample to your local CoOperative.

Then, when you find out what is going on with your soil, you can take the appropriate measures to amend the soil.

You may be surprised that it will take less time, worry and chemicals than you thought.
