Ahh, Spring! What to do now, you wonder...
Well, now's a great time to decide, finally, what you want to do and what you'd like to have your landscaper take care of. Unless you are truly passionate about your lawn and garde, you really should have some help. Otherwise, you'll be spending all of your free time tending to the garden and mowing the lawn.
Here's a list to start with, you can print out this page and use it as your Spring checklist.

Remove lawn thatch
Prune away any winter injury on trees, roses and shrubs
Cut back dead ornamental grasses that weren't cut back during winter

Remove extra mulch from roses, trees and shrubs
Apply new mulch in beds
Apply pre-emergent to lawn and shrub beds
Apply fertilizer to lawn
Open, check on irrigation, make any necessary repairs
